Kevin is a lifelong methodist and has been in ministry since 2006. After a decade in youth ministry he accepted the call to pastoral ministry in 2016 and was ordained in June 2022. He has served as a pastor in Iredell, Cranfills Gap, and Arlington before being appointed to serve FUMC Joshua in 2022. He has a heart for involving church members and guests in serving and growing in lifelong discipleship.
Kevin has been married to Kathy, who is an elementary school librarian, since 2006 and they two children.
Tammy has been a member of the United Methodist Church since she was a child, she and her husband joined First United Methodist Church Joshua in 2000. She has been working for the Church as Administrator since 2006.
She has 3 married children and 7 grandchildren. She has 2 boxer children at home.
Lynn has been a member of the United Methodist Church since she was a child. Growing up in the military, she has been to a lot of different places, she and her husband moved to Joshua in late 2006 and joined the First United Methodist Church Joshua in 2010. She became Director of Communications & Publications in the Fall of 2021.
She has 1 child, 1 horse-child, 4 cat-children and 1 dog-child.
Tonya first joined FUMC Joshua in 1990 as a co-youth director along with her then fiancé Will. Tonya has been a part of the staff since 2007. She served as children’s ministry leader for seven years and another 6 years as Christian Education/Adult Discipleship leader. Tonya has a passion for bringing scripture “to life” for others and for helping everyone discover what it means not just to be a follower but a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Tonya has a Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree from Texas Wesleyan University, and she is a Certified Christian Educator in the United Methodist Church. Tonya and Will have raised their children in the FUMC Joshua family and this is where they have found their community of Christian friends.
Tonya says that the thing that brings her the greatest joy is spending time with family and journaling in her Bible. Her favorite verse is Psalm 40:1-3.
Tonya has been married to Will for over 30 years and they have 5 children (3 children and 2 in-loves). When not at home you can often find her visiting her children in Galveston, Dallas and Stillwater, Oklahoma. She and Will love to travel and are enjoying their recently emptied nest.
Jennifer is married to Kevin Higgins, they have 3 kids, several cats, and 2 dogs. She attended Joshua High School, got her BS in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from McMurry University, she received a Master’s in Professional Accounting from UTA.
She has owned several businesses including a home daycare for 4 years. Her passion is working with children. She loves seeing the world through the eyes of a child. They bring a different perspective to the world.
She has been the JUMPS director since 2020. Prior to that, she was the nursery director.
She has been a member of FUMC Joshua for over 40 years.
Donna has been married over 40 years her wonderful husband Darrell Gregory. They have 4 kids, 8 grandkids, 1 great granddaughter, & 2 puppies. She attended OD Wyatt High School, then attended TCC college. She worked in the school district for over 22 years in special education. Her passion is children, she then semi-retired to help with grandkids. She is now retired from the school district but works part time mentoring one on one with a young man. She has been the Director of Children’s Ministry since 2020. She has been at FUMC Joshua since 2006.
